We would like to enthusiastically promote all self-healing methods and qigong forms around the world so that more people can benefit from them. However, it is the lessen that Chinese qigong community has learned from their mistaking in the past two decades, that all qigong are NOT the same although most qigong may have some health benefit. It is an unfortunate situation that there are more "fake" qigong forms (without real cultivation tradition and qualified master) in the market than the real qigong with profound tradition and philosophy, and some people mix-up qigong with religions. So, the undifferentiated promotion of all qigong will challenge the legitimate development of real qigong and damage the image of qigong itself. One of the effective solutions to this problem is research.

Promoting human self-healing and consciousness power through high-quality research is one of our missions. We are committed in applying scientific methods to explore nature and characteristics of various aspects of qigong therapy, human self-healing and consciousness power.

The future of qigong and human self-healing movement depends upon research!

In general, there are not much well-designed research studies of qigong or self-healing in the medical literature due to a lack of support and funding from mainstream medical community. However, there are a lot of evidences supporting the power of human self-healing and consciousness potentials in health and healing. WISH is playing an active role in contributing to this scientific literature pool.

With the limited support and resource, we are calling for more researchers and scientists to get involved in research studies of qigong therapy and human self-healing capability, and we will provide support for any scientific research in terms of technique, case report, practitioners and instructions, as much as we can. Please contact us if you have any questions or inquiries on this matter.

We also welcome all ideas, financial aids and volunteers to support our continuous effort to explore and verify the truth and benefits of various qigong therapies and human self-healing techniques.
